Paid Marketing Executive

DESCRIBE AN AVERAGE WORKING DAY FOR YOU AT RED FERN

As a specialist in paid media, I manage all the client accounts through Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Facebook, LinkedIn Ads etc. Main priorities include ensuring that clients campaigns are running to budgets and meeting KPI’s.

HOW DOES THE RED FERN WORKING ENVIRONMENT DIFFER TO THE OTHER ENVIRONMENTS YOU’VE WORKED IN?

The office has a relaxed atmosphere, which makes for a creative space where everyone feels comfortable to bounce their ideas off each other. I’ve previously worked in specialist paid media teams so Red-fern differs as everyone in the team has their own marketing specialisms, from paid Marketing, content and creative which leads to effective and holistic marketing campaigns.

HOW DID YOU END UP IN DIGITAL MARKETING?

Throughout the business studies degree I studied in Leeds I found that the marketing modules were of particular interest to me, and so took the obvious path and ended up in a Marketing Agency, finally ending up a Red-Fern!

WHICH CLIENTS ARE YOU MOST EXCITED TO BE WORKING WITH?

I’ve worked with a whole plethora of clients over the years, each with their own nuances and different challenges. I’ve found that my favourite clients have always been the ones that are friendly and appreciative of the work that is put into their business!

WHICH TOOLS DO YOU USE DAY TO DAY, OUT OF INTEREST?

As i’m building and analysing ad accounts all day, my day-to-day platforms include Google Ads, Google Analytics, Microsoft Advertising Platform, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Data Studio to name a few!

ARE THERE ANY TV SERIES OR FILMS THAT YOU RECOMMEND AT ANY CHANCE THAT YOU GET?

I’ve been obsessed with Peaky Blinders since it first came out on Netflix, and for a film it has to be Snatch. Both very Gangster related.

WHERE’S YOUR FAVORITE NIGHT OUT SPOT?

Having lived down south for a while and being into House & Techno I would say the big London clubs are up there. For a more chilled out night anywhere with good beer and good company.

ANY ALBUMS OR SONGS ON REPEAT AT THE MOMENT?

Techno can be a bit intense for office listening sometimes so I regularly go for something more chilled out. Loyle Carner's “Not Waving, But Drowning” has been a recent favourite.
