Rossendale Leisure Trust made a major investment for a state of the art climbing facility in one of their leisure centres based in the North West of England. With this new investment they were looking to procure a digital partner to deliver a full re-brand, online website and booking platform, plus a full digital marketing strategy to launch the new facility.
The brand needed to be modern, young and fresh with a website that reflected all the facilities the leisure centre offered, whilst at the same time promote this amazing new investment.

Project Branding & Online Development
Starting with focus groups and a detailed questions and answers session, we were able to work with the design team to create a stunning and modern brand for the new sports centre and climbing facility which was titled ‘Grip & Go’. The branding process consisted of many naming and design ideas, which led to a process of elimination until we reached the agreed brand.
As soon as the branding process was completed our website designers and developers set to work on creating a totally unique, mobile ready website with full booking and customer management system. The website uses advanced coding techniques to deliver angled images and page layouts which further enhances the marketing and brand story, for the new climbing facility Rossendale Leisure Trust have invested in.
The Booking System
We developed a bespoke booking system that delivers an easy to use graphical interface for Adrenaline’s customers to make their bookings. The system gives the customer a fluid booking experience with a matrix system that allows customers to choose the day they want to book their climbing experience. With the ability to take party bookings, online payments with Sage Pay and store all customer details for future marketing events, the front end booking experience is a streamlined process.
In addition, we developed a ‘reception’ portal which allows Adrenaline staff to run session registers, view orders, make cash bookings, amend orders and change order sessions, plus create graphical reports. We have worked with the Adrenaline staff to model the system exactly to the workflow required for internal management.
The reporting section of the booking system allows the system administrator to view graphical representations of user data:
- Total Users by Session/Week/Month/Year/Date
- User Types by Session/Week/Month/Year/Date
- Booking Details
- Time of booking
- Difference between time of booking and session
- Postal codes
- Repeat users
The whole system was fully integrated with a third party email marketing company, that is now using the data to increase bookings and generate repeat custom.
