After a recommendation by one of our partners, Red-Fern Media were chosen to become the digital partner for British Engineering Services when it was acquired from Royal Sun Alliance Insurance.
Working alongside the external corporate branding and design agency, plus the internal marketing and comms team we were tasked with developing a state of the art mobile ready website, plus a fully branded and configured Microsoft Sharepoint/Office 365 Intranet, ready for their day one of business launch.
A national brand with over 500 employees and a project that had a specific launch date, a strategic approach was needed to map out the timeline for design, coding, content development, intranet development, system usability, employee engagement, testing and a long term marketing plan.

With a very strong brand developed by the corporate branding partner, Red-fern Media had a clean slate for designing and developing a fully mobile ready website that would reflect the companies history and heritage, whilst at the same time showcase their move forward with technology and compliment the companies brand across all media.
We developed a stunning, fully optimised content managed website with an interactive timeline to showcase the heritage of the company. The site was fully wire framed and tested for usability across all devices and is now ready for further development as we set out the next 12 months content and marketing strategy.
Microsoft Office 365, Sharepoint Intranet
As the company was acquired out of Royal Sun Alliance Insurance they had the opportunity to start a fresh with their internal systems, hardware and software. With Microsoft Office 365 being their chosen platform, Red-Fern Media were tasked with designing and developing an intuitive intranet within the Office 365 environment that would allow employees to login on a daily basis, find the tools and files that would make their daily workflows seamless and quicker, plus keep them up-to-date with company news.
We developed a fully responsive intranet system that gave the business everything it required to function from day one. A fully working Business Management System for document management and sharing, integration with all their HR and expenses systems, access to Office 365’s core online applications like Word and Excel.
We delivered training and discovery days so that team leaders and managers could see the features within their new system and relay this to staff when the system was launched.
With projects like this it is imperative to plan and create a strategy for future development of online marketing and internal workflows to grow and streamline the business.
Red-Fern Media are now setting out a long term strategy for the website with lead generation, marketing and sales channels to maximise the investment made.
The intranet will continue to grow and develop as the business moves forward, with Red-Fern Media working alongside the company to support and develop their internal processes and systems.
