The Brief

Having worked with Westholme school for the last 5 years, Red-Fern Media were tasked with developing a sixth form section on the website that still retained the core Westholme brand values, whilst delivering a new style and developing a more adult user experience to reflect the target audience.

The website needed to have a different style of navigation and deliver a unique user experience yet still deliver a fluid user experience and access to all the key information pages and latest news.

The new sixth form section of the website needed to be integrated into the main school website and controlled through one content management system.

The Website

After working through several design and navigation ideas, the team at Red-Fern Media and the executive team at Westholme school, agreed on a clean and bold style, that would reinforce the brand values of the school, yet give students and website browsers the understanding that they are on the sixth form section of the website, reflecting the transition from the main school through to the sixth form.

The site has a single page navigation option, with links through to multiple information and news pages, which can all be managed through the main schools content management system.

Having developed Westholmes website for the past five years, the team at Red-Fern Media and the executive team at Westholme continue to work along side each other to further develop, manage and maintain the online presence of the school.
