A warm welcome to our new Creative Designer, Summer!

New additions to the team are coming thick and fast - so, we’d like to give our new Creative Designer, Summer a very warm welcome! As you know, at Red-Fern, we’re experiencing a period of fruitful growth, so we’ve needed to strengthen our team accordingly to keep up with the fast-paced nature of agency life.

Summer brings a fresh sense of creativity into the business that’ll benefit both the design and marketing departments. Her passion for design and creativity is evident in everything that she does and we can’t wait to see some of the concepts created for our partners and our brand too.

Creativity is such a vital asset to have within your team. It allows the whole team to try new ideas, create stronger campaigns and stand out from the crowd - and that’s not the end of it. That’s why we’ve turned to Summer to bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion to drive our creative side forward.

In unusual circumstances, this isn’t the first time we’ve met Summer! We go waaaaaay back. Well, not way back but she’s a long-term friend of our business. Having worked for a neighbouring digital agency when she graduated university, Summer has seen the business grow from strength to strength and now she’s super excited to be a part of it too.

During the day you’ll find her getting her design on and assisting the marketing team with premium assets, custom bespoke graphics and any other creative support. While also supporting the design team on any projects they may need an extra hand with. It’s a flexible role for sure and one that’s crucial to the smooth running of both departments.

Away from work, it seems as though we have a true-crime series fanatic amongst us. Should we be worried? She recommends Money Heist, Haunting of Hill House and is currently making her way through Unsolved Mysteries. All good choices! Plus, she’s no stranger to a true-crime podcast or two either.

When she’s not getting her box set fix, you’ll likely find Summer with her sleeves rolled up and getting into some DIY at home. In the previous couple of years, she’s bought a home with her partner and they’re still in the phase of looking to renovate anything they can get their hands on. That’s exciting - and we know where to turn to if we need any decorating jobs in the new office, right? Maybe you should’ve kept that one quiet, Summer.

She wouldn’t be a true designer if her hobbies and interests didn’t lie within creativity, would she? However cliche it sounds, it’s true! Summer loves illustrating, branding and anything that can help her pick up new skills or develop old ones.

The appointment of a new Creative Designer is very promising for Red-Fern. It’s an area of the business that we’ve been looking to improve for a while - and now we’ve found the perfect person to fit the role. We’re looking forward to seeing what innovative and fresh ideas are brought to the table to aid project work.

Further appointments prove that we’re only heading in one direction! And like we said in the previous post, we’re not finished there. If you could see yourself working at a leading digital agency, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch and register your interest.
