A warm welcome to our new Digital Marketing Apprentice, Aaliah!

As we’ve progressed into 2021, there’s no sign of things slowing down at Red-Fern! With that in mind, we need more hands on deck and have been actively recruiting yet again. So, without further ado, we’d like to give a very warm welcome to our new Digital Marketing Apprentice, Aaliah!

Red-Fern’s continued investment into the development of our brand and talent in the local area has led us into apprenticeships. As a company who prioritises individual development, it was a natural progression for us to head in this direction and we’re excited to see the positive impact it can have all-round.

Aaliah brings a willingness to learn and hunger to succeed to the team - she’ll fit in just fine. Both of these are key values that we look for in all team members, therefore, we’re certain that she’ll be a great asset to assist the marketing team. We’re always on the lookout for people who are willing to put the hard yards in to better themselves and delight our digital partners.

While she’s learning and developing skills across the board within marketing, she’s going to be specialising in Paid Media. This is one of the most influential facets of any marketing approach and is certainly an exciting entry point for her. The only downside is that you have to work alongside Dave - we’re only joking, of course.

Aaliah Digital Marketing Apprentice

Stepping into her first professional role, Aaliah is raring to go! However, the team will have to continue to welcome her via Zoom for the time being. It’s hard enough starting a new role remotely with a wealth of experience - just ask Luke, Rowey, Cara or Summer! However, she’s taking it in her stride and dealing with it superbly.

From building paid social accounts, reporting on ad performance and managing budgets, Aaliah has a lot to manage within her role. Currently, she’s finding her feet and smashing through the various exams and training courses that’ll help better her knowledge and skill set. She’ll be an expert in no time!

Being from Watford originally, she’s quickly become Red-Fern’s resident southerner (on behalf of the team, I apologise in advance for some of the terrible jokes that you’ll no doubt hear based on this during your time with us, Aaliah). True to her roots, this is also her favourite spot for a few drinks and a night out.

Away from work, Aaliah likes to spend her spare time maintaining her highly-successful make-up tutorial social media accounts. She creates bold, colourful and simple make-up ideas and posts them for her followers to see. This is something that she’s been developing for the past three years and has been SMASHING it.

Other than that, she loves a good box set - who doesn’t? To be honest, there’s not much else to do during lockdown, is there? She’s currently sinking her teeth into Bridgerton but admits that she’ll watch pretty much anything. Some of her favourites are Power, Money Heist and Prison Break.

Investment into apprenticeships is very promising and exciting for Red-Fern. This is an area that we’ve been eager to explore for a while and now it’s upon us we can’t wait to see the level of development from Aaliah - and any further appointments too. We’re looking forward to seeing what innovative and fresh ideas can be brought to the table.

As 2021 has picked back up, we’ve certainly not slowed down on the recruitment front - and we’re not finished there. We’re always on the lookout for fresh talent to join and benefit our team. Therefore, if you think you’d fit well within a digital agency and are looking for a fresh challenge, please don’t hesitate to contact us and register your interest.
