The dev team are a huge part of what makes Red-Fern a leading digital agency. Coding world-class websites built to create an optimal user experience and generate those all-important leads is what they do best. You’ll often find the dev team working together on big projects and distributing roles to get the job done to an expert level - it’s all about teamwork.
And the dev team’s expertise doesn’t just end with websites. They can code cutting edge apps and bespoke CRM systems too, so our clients can benefit from a full digital transformation. These guys truly have coding down to an expert craft - they basically eat, breathe and sleep code. And when they’re not coding, you can find them geeking out about a cool website or game they’ve found - it’s a full time passion!
Creative Web and Graphic Design
Red-Fern’s web designers know more than just a thing or two about aesthetics. Think of our devs as the bones and our designers as the body when it comes to bringing a website together. Colour schemes, logos, fonts and graphics are their forte and they use all of this to bring client projects to life.
On a typical day you’ll find them using editing software, such as Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator, to create incredible web designs that serve both style and functionality. So, even if a client comes to us with no identity or brand image, the design team can fix that straight away.
Sticking with creativity, our Graphic Designer is an amazing asset and shoulder to lean on for the marketing team. Sleek and eye-catching designs for social media, web pages and advertisements are the orders of the day. Our designers stay up to date with the latest design trends and technology, so they can always produce the most cutting edge work for our clients.
Forward Thinking Marketing Team
The marketing team is built up of people who have a range of expertise in a variety of fields. Producing engaging content, enhancing SEO and shooting professional videos are just some of the activities you can find them doing on a daily basis. Let’s dive a little deeper…
Our resident wordsmiths can always be found tapping away at their keyboards, producing the next piece of incredible content that’ll put our clients on the SEO map. Sourcing the correct information and putting it together in a succinct and coherent manner is an undeniable talent that our team has perfected!
It’s all about the passion with this role - if you don’t enjoy writing then you’re not going to produce engaging content that’ll educate and entertain readers. And it’s not all writing either. Our content marketers are constantly liaising with clients to ensure we’re targeting the right ‘Buyer Personas’ and strategising the right blog topics.
Social Media Marketing
Working on social media projects is undeniably a fun job. Our social media team gets to play around with the latest online trends, create fun posts and help our clients grow all at the same time. Algorithms, trends, features - social media is constantly changing so you need to be hot off the mark and always doing your research to stay relevant on the channels.
You’ll often find our social media marketers working with all members of the wider marketing team to produce engaging graphics, promote blog content, shoot eye-catching videos and create paid social ads. It’s definitely varied and fast paced!
If you have an analytical mindset and willingness to grow accounts, this is the perfect role for you. Our paid marketing team are experts in all things budgeting, analysis and data so they can produce incredible results for our clients. A big part of paid marketing is targeting the right audience. There’s no point creating the perfect ad but showing it to the wrong people, right? That’s why we meticulously outline audience profiles to define our target customer and their behaviours.
Once the perfect audience has been selected, we’ll get to work on Google and social media ads and allocate client budgets to generate optimal leads.
Analysis is a huge part of this role. How can we perform better next time? Could we spend less budget? Can we improve the creative process? These are all questions our team asks before launching a new campaign to ensure we get the best results possible!
Creativity is key when it comes to video marketing, but it also requires a huge amount of skill. That’s something our videographer knows all too well. First off, we’ll start with the brief and planning. This is when creative concepts are developed and the shoot is planned out so we can capture the necessary footage.
Then it’s off to the shoot. Our video team can find themselves in a variety of client locations, from warehouses to artisan food halls - it’s a diverse role. When on set, we’ll work with a variety of high tech equipment, including different types of camera, lighting and tripods.
Once we’ve got all the necessary footage, it’s back to our new state-of-the-art recording studio, equipped with the latest software, to edit all of these videos into the final product. Our videographer can produce short and snappy ads or long and engaging interviews, depending on the client’s interests. But you can be sure, whatever we produce it’ll be amazing!
But it’s not all work…
We understand the importance of having a healthy work/life balance, which is why we have team outings a few times a year to keep morale high and have some FUN. Clay pigeon shooting, crazy golf, bowling… you name it, we’ve done it! But during the pandemic we’ve had to get creative. So, instead we’ve had weekly quizzes and even a Halloween party over Zoom to keep spirits high throughout these uncertain times.
